DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING
The Agricultural Machinery Department was a division under the Faculty of Agriculture until 1999, but after this year, continued to education as a subdivision of Agriculture Technology Department of the Faculty of Agriculture.  In  2003-2004 academic year, the existing building was changed again; the Agricultural Machinery Department  started to continue education as a subdivision of the Agricultural Engineering Educational Program as it is in all the Agricultural Faculty Departments. Since 2015, education is continuing with the name of AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING. At the same time, the Agricultural Machinery Department affiliated to the Institute of Natural Sciences and Applied Sciences and continues its education and training in the Master of Science level. PhD Level education will be start soon.
Students are graduated with the title of Agricultural Engineer with the scope of lessons given in Agricultural Machinery Department and courses taken from other departments. It is aimed to give the engineer candidates the opportunity to update and improve themselves by considering the development and change in the world. In the final year of the program, students are conducting graduation work on a topic selected under the supervision of their supervisor. In the last semester of engineering education, Intern (workplace) application is obligatory.
