Mission

Harran University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Environmental Engineering, in order to train engineers who can produce effective solutions against increasing environmental problems in recent years; To implement a training program that explains the formation mechanisms of water-air and soil pollution, offers treatment alternatives, and clearly reveals the project design and operation processes, to enrich education and research activities with laboratory studies, to conduct scientific research with international standards, and to contribute to the environmental protection of industry and technology with the results obtained. It takes it as a duty to contribute to the development of the country in harmony, thereby accelerating the sustainable development of the country, and to create environments that encourage reaching the goal by organizing scientific discussions and meetings.

Vision

Although Harran University Engineering Faculty Environmental Engineering Department has a short history; made significant progress and made great strides. In this direction; It aims to train engineers who can produce solutions to environmental problems, who are researchers in accordance with the requirements of the age, at international standards, who have sufficient capacity in the fields of project and design and who have a say in their profession. Our department; To this end, it continues to provide education, research and publications, and create discussion platforms.
